Summer at Hambledon Vineyard

Summer at Hambledon Vineyard

We have been very busy over the last few months at Hambledon Vineyard with a number of exciting new ventures to share.

As well as producing delicious wines, we have also opened our doors to wine lovers, giving tours of the new winery and vineyard and hosting a range of events and tastings. For local groups and companies we are offering a range of venue hire and team building possibilities so that they can enjoy the beautiful setting that we almost take for granted every day here in the South Downs national park.

We are getting more and more people asking about tours and the chance to look behind the scenes. As a result we are opening the estate for tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the summer from 2pm. Guests can experience an in-depth and fascinating journey from grape to glass with one of our on-site experts! Booking is essential so please make sure you call us first!

Sparkling Wine Workshops
Following the huge success of our first wine workshop with the larger than life wine expert Joe Wadsack in April, we have decided to repeat these events on a regular basis. In essence Joe takes a limited number of guests through a tasting experience that results in them customising their very own bottle of Hambledon sparkling wine to take home. It's an absolute hoot! So why not come and join us for one of the next ones by calling our lovely events manager, Sarah Cross on +44 (0)2392 632358.

Wedding Hire
Last Wednesday anyone arriving at Hambledon would have been forgiven for thinking that they had stumbled across a photo shoot for Vogue magazine. We had brides and bride grooms everywhere you looked and bouquets and photographers than you could shake a stick at. But in actual fact, the photoshoot was to provide some beautiful images to promote Hambledon as a quintessentially English country wedding venue. We will be hosting only ten weddings a year, making it a truly exclusive opportunity. Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook and twiter pages to see the images from the shoot.
